Not bad but it would look a lot neater using button head allen bolts with the nuts on the inside.

Are you doing anything about the oval shaped hole left when the original bracket was removed?

I will add a couple more pics shortly.

I will be changing the fixings (eventually). As for the oval hole, Not sure which you mean. If you mean the one that teh leads originally came through then I have used it. There are open holes frome the fixings of the original bracket but I will plug them again eventually.

Now then. To more serious business. I changed the indicators as you can see on the rear for small Motrax jobs. No problem they worked, although slower with the original fronts. Today I changed the fronts for a matching set as the rears and they don't work. I eventually found the problem was that the new UNIVERSAL indicators are 21watts and the original Aprilia ones are 10watts. The relay is not powerful enough. So has anybody else suffered the same issues and how did you overcome it. I cannot get the bulbs out as the indicators are so small (I thought about changing them for lower wattage ones). Is there a relay available that will accomodate the higher watt items?

So now I am stuck with the bike in the shed, all farings off. PLEASE HELP.

I've gone the all LED route, whichinvolved the diode fix in the dash and an electronic flasher unit.

The relevance to your situation is that I think the electronic flasher unit should work with any indicators. Check before you buy though.

That's what I thought, mine toed in, so do the replacement ones too I think.

Tail tidy looks good. Might have to invest, even though I may be outing the Hawk soon.

Good thread and I'm going to get one of these if the german guy accepts my offer.

Bit OT but re: exhaust mounting spacers... I have them on the bike but they are on the inside so not actually being used apart from required for the longer bolt. Now I've but the Scorpions on should I put them as shown in this picture to make the toe-in effect less apparent?

My only worry was stress on the mount by putting the spacers on this way.

The spacers were left on from the previous owner who had a set of scorpion cans fitted. He contacted me just last week to ask for them back as they were left on by mistake. The standard cans do not need any spacers.

Spacers on and it looks a lot better :)

I have ordered one of these tail tidies, I really like the look of what you've done, so hopefully it'll arrive soon and I can get to work :)
