Sorry to hear about that mate. Drivers never learn do they! Did you break the finger in the accident or smacking the bastard?

Sorry to hear that Ian, hope the pain ain't too bad.
I had a similar one a couple of years ago when a car pulled out on me, only me and the bike went down on the right side.
The scary bit with a Falco is when you start looking at the damaged parts!
Mine wasn't badly damaged at all, but when I priced the bits up on Aprilia Yorkshire site, I had to go and sit down in a dark room for a while!
Mine came to well over £2k, and I didn't want to go through insurance as it would have been written off on the plastic damage alone! The main thing is to shop around for parts and look at different options like repairing any panels where possible, buying panels in other colours and respraying or trying to get the coloured panels you need in good nick secondhand.
I got quite a bit off eBay, including a full set of new black Falco panels, that had been taken off a brand new bike to create a Falco Fighter years ago, and stored by a bike shop in Torquay, ended up paying around £500 for them, but from Aprilia it is well over £2k for the plastics.
Added benefit was that there were all sorts of other bits included when the boxes came.
Get well soon and hope you get it sorted OK.
