:smt017 Im confused. Are you talking about the bung in the drain tube coming out of the RHS of the airbox? If so Im not sure how washing would have an impact... do you mean washing the airbox to clean the oil? Then I suppose yes cos you would want to drain the results of your washing. Ive probably got the wrong end of the stick completely so forgive me if this does not make sense.

You're confused, you want to try living in my head for 5 mins!

I think there is a little drain tube fitted to to fuel tank, it has a bung to be removed after washing to remove water from the tank. Not that any water gets to the fuel of course, but it must get somewhere.

Right, at work or not, i'm going for a lie down.

Ok, no 14 here http://www.ultimateparts.net/shop/categ ... 03-Air-box shows the tube Dyzio was talking about( I think)

Whereas if you look here http://www.ultimateparts.net/shop/categ ... -Fuel-tank you will plainly see that I am talking bollox

Now for that lie down

#20 is your breather tube from your crankcase (LHS as you sit on the bike). That should stay as is as you dont need to do anything with it. #14 is the drain pipe to collect oil that collects in the airbox from (RHS as you sit on the bike) which from time to time you should clear.

Now Wavey must still be in that beating-man-u-4-1 hangover cos I have no clue what pipe you are referring to there on Planet Wavey :smt002

Wouldn't help (for long). The battery was replaced by the previous owner.

Did the wire mod, bike started fine today, will see how it goes.
