Got my Blueflames back this week, all shiny and repaired. The stock cans will be going back in the cupboard again now!
See my thread in the Workshop about the great service from Blueflame Performance.

If anybody would like some nice bright early standard cans, I have two very slightly different versions in the garage, (one set brand new), so I am open to offers.
:smt017 :smt001 :smt009

If sent by post it will cost a fortune, if charged by weight, as they each way a ton !!

repacking as a diy job is not hard to do tbh

depending on the type you will need a drill and rivet gun - or if you are lucky a spanner ..... and a girt big hammer if the sodding nuts are seized.....

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Plusgas is your friend.. Ford sell it in the parts department if you can't find it elsewhere. Highly recommended.

+1. Proper penetrating fluid, unlike WD40 which is pants by comparison.

Sorry Scottyni - only just seen this. As Blinkey points out, the repair was free. It was more than a re-pack, some of the steel work had started to fracture and a weld inside the can had failed.

Trouble with rivets are they make the hole bigger everytime you repack and IMO are used by cheapskate firms who over charge for crap. :smt003
