I know woody

it was bad enough when Andy was pre menstrual, but now he is of an age when he is post menopausal.....

I am planning on investing heavily in stocks of evening primrose oil - may well make all our lives easier

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

the evo or evoluzzione kit works by using the underside of the petrol tak as the airbox - basically it is a metal shape that fits over the lower half of the airbox - the top half having been removed. This metal plate holds a lipped piece of rubber that is smeared with vaseline - this sticks to the underside of the tank.
Would our spreading tanks cause problems here?

A very interesting point!

Certainly not going to help but whether it's enough to cause a problem I wouldn't like to say.

I've never been that convinced as to the reliability of the seal worth the evo design - I did have one but never fitted it because of my concern about the seal.
