Crappy seat lock!

I found to my cost that the Seat Pad seems to take an extra firm push to lock on compared to the cowl.

I lost the seat pad on my test ride, luckily Aladinsane came up with a brand new cowl ':smt001'. I have since aquired a seat pad off fleabay.

If you're stuck I have the original seat pad with three small tears which you could get recovered, for the price of the postage.

I might take you up on that. Although I never carry a passenger, I need a seatpad for luggage and I'm due away on 9th June.

^^ Good idea, the only reason I keep mine is that I want it for occasionally strapping a tail pack to.

I also seem to have problems securing my pillion pad after it has been removed.

It always needs a good couple of thumps before it clicks into place. After this alarming news I think the lock mechanism is going to get a good lubrication today.

Sorry to all of those who have lost their seat pads thus far.
