Same colour scheme as Fastasfcuk's - and yes, you don't see many of them on this side of the pond. Very nice, well specified, all the important stuff done. Be interesting to know what it finally goes for...

in the add

Brembo 4 pad calipers (standard on the later RSV giving more powerful braking). Fitted during last service along with new OE (Sunstar) discs (wider sweep to match 4 pad calipers) and OE (Brembo) pads

does that mean the rsv has different discs ? i thought 4 pads were a straight swap (except for lines)

Yes, I saw that. Sounds like disinformation to me. I'm 99.9% sure that front brake discs are common across all model years of RSV, Tuono and Falco. Easy way would be to check part numbers on Ultimateparts.net, but right now I can't be arsed... :smt003

The discs to match the four pad calipers are indeed different from standard fit. The advert isn't 100% correct as it says it has a 'wider' swept area when in fact the four pad calipers and matching discs have a 'narrower' swept area than the standard disc and standard two pad caliper.

I've just checked the brake disc part numbers, and they are definitely different between 2 pad and 4 pad models. However I don't believe it will cause a problem using the 4 pad calipers with the wider track disc; it just means that not all of the swept area will be used. The outside diameter of the disk is the same in both cases - 320mm.

What it means is that with a new (wide track) disc and a set of 4 pad calipers the inner portion of the pad track on the disc will be unused. This unused part will only be a few mm wide, though.

A batch of about half a dozen of those are known to have come to UK (maybe others that we don't know of).
I have the 4 pad callipers and my carbon wheels have the Sunstar disks. As it's winter I've got the OZ wheels on that have the standard disks that came with the bike

I love that colour. That Matte Black gives a really great look I reckon.

That's what I thought, when I first saw mine, exactly the same model, in Aprilia Racing colours.

I only discovered how "Matte" the finish should be when Aladinsane was good enough to part with a brand new seat cowl, it then became apparent that the previous owner had polished it!!
Couldn't find an easy answer to getting the finish back to "Matte" so I gave in and polished the seat cowl too. Still looks great in the red / black colours though! ':smt007'

As Mangocrazy says it will be interesting to see what it goes for. I coughed up £2000 on top of trading in my 7 year old SV650s with 28,000 miles on the clock. So far I am still thinking it was worth every penny, though this one on sale would seem to have had a lot more TLC lavished on it.

Blue spring shock? Stock indicators?? Stock exhausts!!!
You're new here, aren't you :smt003

I have the 4-pad set up, running on Braking disks that were designated for the Falco rather than the RSV and all is good. May be that Braking just did a 'one size fits all' disk I guess. Not sure where this is going, I'll stop typing now.

Thinking back... when I got mine from KJM there was also a brand new unregistered red one on offer there as well.

I did fix the sidestand ':smt001', (Fireblade)
Put the standard exhausts back on, neighbours weren't very appreciative :smt013 of 5:30am cold starts, bike came with Carbon Can Co stainless, Very LOUD!

Give me time, I'll catch up! Got forks oil to get changed first, then wiring mod, then rear shock. Mini Indicators, not interested!

Lord that is shiny black compared to the original I sent

And before any one asks.... I very rarely have any spares since some tight got has built a new version of the berlIn wall around Noale, Coventry....

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Was talking to Griff about the wiring mod and apparently it's not something that needs to be done on Falcos, it's more a Mille problem.
