Well I'm not from Coventry but I have learned a bit about the place in the time I've been here. At times in the middle ages it was the second most important city in the land with parliament sitting here on occasions as well as the monarch living here occasionally.
In the 1960s - back when we had industry - it was such a popular location that it had the most expensive housing in the country (a far cry from now).
In the late 1970s and early 1980s it was the birthplace and driving force of the 2 tone music scene.

I was telling you the bad

today when stopped it feels like you are in an oven. Nooow last night

I was on my pushy for 2 hrs ( needed the excercise) but low to mid 20's temp i'd say, cloudless sky minimal breeze just freekin awesome.

I'd take a photo of a West Aussie cloud for ya's but can't seem to find one. Come to think of it don't remember seeing one for about a week.

Oh well, thats all the salt I can spare to rub into your wounds as I need some to put on me chips so I don't cramp up from all the sweating.

Just for the record, Anglian Water issued a drought warning about a fortnight ago ... rivers are drying up and reservoirs are half empty,

Mine also sits at 66 degress when out on the open roads, usually only gets to about 84 degress in traffic at this time of year, but gets hotter in summer.

2-tone was definitely 'cool' back in the day. The Selecter, the Specials, The Beat, Madness - all top stuff and cutting edge in the late 70s / early 80s.

Doing the commute on the "A" roads mine gets to 66 degrees, then up to around 85 in town. I have had 3 Falcos and a couple of Milles and they all seemed to run at this temp when out on the open road. Even a couple of times at Croft the temp was as above.

mine is also a 66 degree one... although over here when its warm i've noticed she heats up a lot quicker when in town etc. which is understandable!

Ditto, 66'c - 68'c when movin, gas mark 8 when in heavy traffic.

bout the same here ,i was up at 80 today just round the town in trafic , but it was quite cold ould there , in the summer the fans would come on at about 98 ,

Mine must be a warm one. 76-77 moving, up to 80ish when it gets really hot.

Steady 78 when moving, irrespective of air temp & fans on at about 96.
