MPL - a german company, used to sell their clutch bits via ebay - andy waited a long time ... they are now never - to my knowledge - seen that cheap

Yes, they used to auction new ones on ebay ..... I waited over a year to get one at that price.
I know that I could sell it used at a handsome profit.

From a quality of engineering point of view, the Evo stave cylinder is probably the best.
It has better sealing and has proved very reliable against leaks.
I've not had one myself but they are very popular on AF1. Ken Zeller, who runs Evoluzione has sometimes offered discounts or trade-ins against MPL slaves.

This bike is like a special woman (read expensive and out of my league), can be very expensive but when ridden well, seems to be worth evey penny!

Can't say that I have modded mine with quite the same zeal as some on here, but over the last 2 years I have dropped almost all other hobbies to endulge my thought processess almost entirely on the Falco.

Even spent over £1K on a concrete base & workshop to put it in over the winter this year so I could take it appart to polish / service / grease ( OK look at it in the evenings).

I try to look at other bikes on the web, but nothing seems to do it for me (well, I do like the look of the Futura though

) and maybe at some stage there will be two sets of wheels in the garage, but i really can't think of anything I don't like about this bike.
Size & weight are all relative, and one of the things that brought me to the Falco was the size & reach to the bars, at 6'2" and over 16 Stone, I am no lightweight, so the 'big-boy' image of the bike suits me well.

Way faster than i can ride, so will be OK for quite some time yet.
