Re bubseywoo side stands

#1 Post by Aladinsaneuk » Fri Nov 04, 2011 9:22 pm

A couple of people have asked me, privately, why I do not recommend them

The original couple versions produced were good - one of the falcos I oversee has one fitted - and it's great :)

About spring 2010 a run of stands came out that we're not quite right. - a tuono owning friend had one.... And it needed some cutting and welding to make it good. We wondered if we had the wrong part but - was fettled and end of problem.

September 2010 things really became shitty - http://apriliaperformance.myfastforum.o ... seywoo.php

That's 30 pages of problems...

He charges 50 quid - and for that money there are other proven options...

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Given the history of them people actually have to ask why you don't recommend them?

I'd be asking questions if you were actually recommending them!

Problem solved - Bubseywoo is no longer doing sidestands or an eBay seller.

I just received a refund for a stand ordered mid July, bubseywoo claims he was let down but the machining shop, contacting the guy was the biggest problem. To be fair he didn't hesitate to refund me once I managed to get hold of him. He no longer sells on eBay! By the way I fitted a Fireblade stand once I got sick of waiting! Does the job just fine!
