OZ Wheels - Powder Coating

My first job for the winter, now my tyres are ready to be changed, is to get my OZ wheels refurbed. I'm planning to have them powder coated and I have a couple of questions:

1 - I'll have the bearings removed and new ones fitted - but do I need to remove the cush drive rubbers too. If so I guess the best option is to replace them with new ones cos they are likely to become damaged during the removal process.

2. - On the rear wheel there is a small disc in the hub - looks like a tiny plug sealed with resin. I'm presuming this is a grease point and plug - does it need to come out too? if so what do we use to reseal it after the refurb.

I know a few of you have had your OZs refurbed so hopefully someone will know the answers.

Powder coasting involve heat , 150 - 200'c if memory serves so everything other than the metal to be coated has to come off.

Of course.... stupid question. Got cush rubbers out quite easily and ordered new ones for the re-fit.

Got the little "plug" off too. It's not a plug at all, seems to be a tiny balance weight. Anyway job done and off to drop the wheels in and have the tyres taken removed and bearings pulled now.
