I will have to learn the art of greasing the palm of somebody who knows how to do the valve check and will work for bacon sarnies and copious amounts of tea.
It's nice to have friends of a mechanical nature.

I'm right 98% of the time so why worry about the other 3%?

Andy my suggestion is pay particular attention to HT leads and plugs when you do the service.
Don't put off 'till tomorrow what you can enjoy today

Cheers Howard.
The eye varies - hospital discharged me as the retina seems to have lasered up OK but will be 6 months or so before the "floaters" dissipate a bit and the slight double vision in that eye resolves.

Tryopening both eyes at the same time and drinking less vodka?
Keep getting better Andy

For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

Yup, mine was traced eventually to hairline cracks in the front plug cap , didn't happen in the dry and thats what pointed us that way

i really must get round to sourcing some new plug caps.... i refuse to pay aprilia prices....
Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...
