Shiny!

#1 Post by k1w1boy » Sat Oct 29, 2011 6:31 pm

... Now extremely proud owner of Rich's (f9) superbly kept and fettled '04 bronze & black beauty. Mille yellow spring shock, sl carbons+chip, rsv4 indicators, and lots of other blingtastic additions. I couldn't be happier. 200 miles home today put a smile on my dial visible from space. Gearbox was ridiculously smooth; throttle response and power felt like I was hitting the ffwd button on every lane change overtake - this is what a Falco should feel like! :smt007

In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular.

Am pleased for you

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

It was a pleasure dealing with you Kerry. I'm chuffed the bike has gone to such a nice guy. I told you the motor was a peach didn't I?

Have fun, be safe and remember to wash her every night during the winter (just as you promised :smt003)

I now have my new GSA in the garage and just for a couple of hours yesterday I was the proud owner of a Falco and two GS's !!! SWMBO was getting worried :smt005 My other GS is being collected next weekend so then its back to normality owning just one bike, just the majority of us

...60 miles today playing in traffic and scaring tourists in central London via the Ace Cafe. The whole bike is a lot sharper than the other one was at the end. The increased ride height from the shock drops a bit more weight on my wrists, and puts the body into a tighter crouch - am actually quite sore, but still smiling.

Looked like a good one when I saw it in Rich's garage.
I'm right 98% of the time so why worry about the other 3%?

Hope it's a long and happy partnership!
It's a really nice looking, well looked after bike, you have to keep it that way now Kerry.
Enjoy!!!
