I would also tactfully point out that if the police are going to press charges - I believe that driving like a twat is a subset of due care and attention - they must do it inside 28 days of the offence
if they are not going to press charges - why not?
Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

The damage to me is fairly minor compared to the bike. One swollen and crushed left foot. Nasty slice in left knee cap. Sore and stiff everything. Dizzyness caused by concusion. Initial indication from the police is looking like driving without due care and attention on my behalf as they deem I should not have attempted to overtake at this point although I have stressed my version of events I will have to wait for the official police report.
