Haven't had much time to ride my Falco yet, but Iv'e been going round the bike and checking all the nuts & bolts are tight.
The bike came supplied with Carbon Can Co stainless pipes, so I thougth it would be wise to check to see if it had also been chipped, seals are still intact on the ECU box.
Noticed the Oil level seemed too high, way over the top of the Max level.
I syringed out 75ml and went for a run over to the dealer to let him have a look, he must have taken out at least 150ml before the level dropped to midway between MIN & MAX.
After this I managed a decent enough run to get the new tyres scrubbed in and decided to check the Airbox for oil after the level had been so high.
After getting in there I found a little oil but also the Airbox Restrictor still in place from new, a quick check on the ECU connector showed that the wire had not been snipped either!! (Still only 3,700miles on the clock)
Needless to say these issues were fixed immediately and followed up by a quick blast to sample the difference. YAHOOOO!!

Only thing now is I have a DIAG 1 displaying which apparently is a throttle position error. Does anyone know if there is a simple how to posted anywhere, for me to follow?
Any help would be appreciated.

OK ..... The Diag 1, 0 and -1 codes are used to set the throttle position sensor and are only meaningful when you have it set up right to do so (and if I remember that involves backing the fast idle adjustment right off). Look in the Workshop manual to check this out and if you don't have a workshop manual then download it from Martin Poll's website: http://www.martinpoll.dk/div_april.htm
However the question must be "Why am I seeing the Diag Codes at all"? .... the answer being that you have the diag connector wires plugged together. These are two wires that come out of the ECU and should be left disconnected unless you are after this (and other) diagnostic data. Pull the connector apart and the message will go away.
Predicting your next question .... you can identify these wires from the workshop manual
Hope this helps

Found the wires / connector after quizzing Griff at Aprilia Perfrmance, they were at the ECU connector rather than under the right hand side bodywork were I had been looking to start with. What puzzles me is if this has been connected every since I bought the bike, why has it only been displayed intermittently?
