Very nice :smt003
I may have a solution to the exhaust hanger. I have the hangers for the streetfighter kit, which I no longer need, as I got all the mounting kit from GPR with the new cans. They are of course in black. That is not primer/undercoated/waxoyled/hammerite treated :smt016
Black is fastest!

Well I liked the preview pic I got and the rest of them in your album (click the pic folks) confirm what a great job you've done.

Nicest black one I've seen :smt055

Greg have to say mate a smart looking bike and very well finished off , gold and black always look good together :smt023 .............How you getting on with the single sided exhaust and did you have the pipe MOD welded on it before you fitted it , notice much difference ? I'll be fitting mine on my return to the UK and can't wait...............ALTHOUGH ..... I have my new end can but I need to find a link pipe for it to fit the RSVR exhaust , anyone got any ideas. :smt017

One last thing though GregD with a bike looking that good those chicken strips have to go on the back tyre ......... :smt009

Exhaust Mod...

#20 Post by GregD-UK » Fri Jun 17, 2011 10:04 pm

Hi all,

CM, my "Negative Wave Deflection" (NWD) improvements was done at the same time by my amigo (Welder/Exhaust proficionado) Kev. See pic on previous page, or on the gallery of pic's. My rear tyre has had some coaxing across the full spectrum, but, due to the lovely incliment weather up here, not of late :smt019

I can certainly say also, that the NWD did improve the pull and performance especially from 2,500 and upwards.... Way cheaper than a full Akro system. Plus mine is a genuine falco front setup. No tinkering with oil reservoir, plumbing and the like. A worthy modification, and the sound of them TwoBrothers is quite intoxicating :smt020

May chop back the top can link pipe to make both cans sit directly above each-other :smt066
My warranty is the clear/smoked tail lights around the corner!!

OK OK so the " Negative wave Deflection improvement " may sound better then my "pipe mod " but the main thing is it works so now i can't wait to give it a try and like you say way way cheaper then a full Akro system. I thought you were going for the full RSV exhaust system but to keep the Falco's one would and does save time and money in the long run ...........and anything that saves money is always a good thing !!

Couldn't resist the tyre joke though as they were there to be had...... :smt003

Once again great looking bike and very well pieced together .........did you also cut back your belly pan or was it brought like that??

I'm absolutely sure that Greg is right ..... however, if you were to listen to them over a mobile phone connection, you may think that you were listening to Jacques Cousteau in the middle of another dive to the deep ... bloop bloop bloop .....

Hopefully we'll get the chance to hear them more directly at some point and get the full effect
(Hint .... Greg ..... Norfolk weekend :smt002 - yeah it's a bit of a haul from up where you are but set off soon and you'll be in time for September )
