Streetfighter parts

#1 Post by Falconihlist » Wed Jun 01, 2011 3:09 pm

Just got a big box of parts through for the official aprilia streetfighter conversion. I only bid on it because I wanted the exhaust hanger brackets and the pillion footrest brackets, as they are nicely black from factory.

Now I know that it is a marmite thing, you either love it or hate it. I have 2 sets of the brake covers, and what looks to be the left and right parts that surround the headlight, so if anyone wants them for postage and a tenner on top they can have them. None of the parts have been fitted and are new. Will try and smash some photos up this evening.

:smt005 Well done.
In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular.

I was going to bid on that lot for the hangers too ..... then I forgot to bid!

Just as well - we wouldn't have wanted to be bidding against each other.

Hopefully the brackets will work okay with the GRP cans :smt017

May have to do a bit of fettling to get them on.

I once went the other way, (but don't tell anybody!).
After my off a few years ago, I bought all the parts that had been taken off a brand new black Falco, when it got coverted to a Falco Fighter for the first owner.
They had been boxed up and left on a shelf in the dealers for years, until they found them and put them on eBay.
Cost me an arm and a few legs to buy, but they were all new bits and would have cost about 3 grand to buy them now.
OK so I didn't really need two more brand new standard cans, with a list price of about a grand!
But it did get me back on the road very quickly, and I am left with quite a few spares.
