I suggest they just clearly state on their website that 2 filters exist and that this is the shorter one.
Stocking the longer one also would be good - with a note to make it clear that is the long one.

Yes - I don't think they need to remove it from stock as I think a good number still run with the old (short) filters.
I suggest they just clearly state on their website that 2 filters exist and that this is the shorter one.
