Side Stand Bypass Switch

I'd like to purchase one of these as I'm pretty sure my sidestand switch is kaput. But even though Ed @ AF1 has offered me a $20 uninsured postage option its still well over double the cost of actual item

So the question is...would a plug like this be difficult to replicate?

Or a better question as I don't want to take business away from Ed is... does anyone else want to purchase one of these plugs?

Ed has a $40 fully insured UK postage option and that covers up to 2kg in weight so a few more being ordered on one postage charge would make these items much more cost effective to buy here in the UK. The value of plugs is pretty low so hopefully it wont attract any import duty. So I wondered if three or four of you may be interested, I'd buy them and then send them out to each of you from here

Just a bit of wire in a loop with the connectors hidden inside a connector block

Probably make that from stuff at maplins for under a quid?

shows how to bypass the switch but keep the indicator light functioning.

Making a copy of the bypass loop would be really easy. If I had a SL or an RSV then I would, but haven't so I shant.

Not the "caring for others" thought process I'd normally expect from you Tim

I'm hoping that a trip to Maplins with the original connector may result in someone there showing me how to do it. I want to remove the switch from the bike all together, so a replacement plug is the perfect solution for me.

Funnily enough reading that thread did highlight the cutting out problems I've been having with my Falco, although it doesn't account the dash board gremlins

I'm not actually sure there is anything wrong with the switch other than the fact it may not like being sat on the engine! hence why I'd like to remove it altogether and eliminate any current / future cut out problems. But cheers for the heads up mate
