Bike servicing Norfolk
After a lengthy break from riding the Falco (and visiting this site - oops!) I need to get the beast back on the road. Phoned my trusty and great guy who has worked on the bike in the past only to find he's moved on to other things
, so I need to get a good shop/ individual for a service (the bike, not me - though I probably need it just as much!). Has anyone got any good experiences of people to service a Falco? - preferably in North Norfolk (long shot I know....), but within striking distance if not - preferably individual rather than dealer to keep costs down, but all suuggestions gratefully received.

I will allow only two people to work on my falco - One is Griff, the other is Carl
Carl is a former racer and ducati foreman of works - nice guy, good prices and does know his stuff
I would not use any one in norwich to work on the bike......
There is an accredited aprilia dealer at http://www.candasuperbikes.co.uk/ - just south of kings lynn - I have never used them so have no idea as to how good they are

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Again, thanks Aladinsane - showing my ignorance by not knowing who Griff is, but will contact Carl if my local person doesn't work out.
I'm based right up in North Norfolk ('ther be dragons territory', if it wasn't too cold for them up here!) so getting transport to deliver and collect the bike is a problem - hence the local search area........

Thanks for these thoughts - everything starts to get pretty complicated/ time consuming with vans/ trailers so I'll check out the N Norfolk option first and then work something out for a trip to Carl if that fails.
Just back from a trip to get some Diablos fitted and, despite rubbish weather and gently gently on new tyres, still a very happy bunny
- what is it about Falcos?......

Probably me not explaining things properly - the bike is completely rideable, but getting back from dropping it off and then returning to collect once work is done gets more complicated the further the distance - we're into "a bus every second market day" still in this part of Norfolk!!
Thanks for the suggestions

Hmmm which service is it? If it's not valve check time, it's not that hard to do yourself - as long as you're reasonably competent and have the workshop manual (Downloaded from Martin Poll's website)
