I did indeed!

Don't get me wrong, its an improvement, but it left me longing for a larger footprint (and therefore lean).

and it was always better than the crap aprilia original!

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

I have the hollow Gixxer stand and it's plenty strong enough, It can take the weight of the bike when pulling one of the wheels up in the air.

Well fleaby came up trumps once again and a almost brand new K7 stand & bracket was mine for....£9.99 inc postage. Its the tube type as opposed to the cast item and I don't think its ever been used. What a bargain!!

Offered it up today and a quick bolt on to check the angle of dangle and its perfect, so mucho thanks to all for your advice. :smt023

No way I could make the side stand switch work with it though so I've "fixed" the switch in the "off" position and tucked it out of the way for the short term.

As soon as I've got the rest done I'll get it down to Will for adapting but for now at least I can use the stand once again

Been a good weekend on the "re-build" front. Got all the brakes serviced, fitted new pads, fluid etc.... engine oil & filter changed....silly gearing now fitted (14-43) most of the bodywork is back on and its starting to look like a bike again
