Cheers Nooj but I have a great local company "B&D Bolts" in Batley that I use for all my replacement fasteners. I replaced about 90% of the fasteners on the GS in stainless for about £15 all in. They don't do the fine thread bolts for the calipers but another bloke round the back from B&D makes them individually for me

Its still far too cold to start removing the old ones though, and I've got all winter after all

And I can recommend a good psychiatrist... Seriously, you wouldn't get me out on two wheels in this stuff unless there was a suitcase full of twenty pound notes involved...
Coming home this afternoon I called into our local Lidl for some milk and as I came out, in walked a bloke in full bike gear......the car park was under 3" to 4" of snow as was most of the road and there he was on his trusty CG125 Honda. I mentioned he was braver than me riding in this weather and he said he'd ridden nothing but a bike in all weathers for the last 20yrs..

at least with a bike you can ride it when you want....

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

OMG you could spend a small fortune on those bolts... so your 15 quid for 90% of bolts seems extremely reasonable!
