Well, if I can get the engine shifted the I will have to have a proper look and take a ride up to see it. The only point I can see wrong with it though, it isn't quite the fastest colour :smt016
Black is fastest!

I'm running a late bmw r100rs (1990) and it is a great complement to the Falco. Fantastic fairing in the awful weather, acurate and agile handling, comfortable and roomy two up and 100mph crusing potential.
Not a falco but vive le difference.

I'd not trade it for a Honda vfr etc. of any vintage...
Don't put off 'till tomorrow what you can enjoy today

The ZX-9R is a lot more comfortable than I expected it to be, mine is one of the later F models which are quite a bit lighter and have around 150bhp, but is a big pussycat low down, and only goes ballistic when you want it to. Will pull from just over 2K to 12K seemlessly like a big turbine, so very docile at low revs in traffic.
The 9Rs now go very cheap as they are not trendy these days.
The economy on flatside carbs is superb, on fast but more gentle runs on winter roads I have had it well over 50mpg a few times, which really surprised me, easy 40 plus ridden harder.
I have also had a VFR 750 and a CBR1000F recently, but the 9R has more character, and is much quicker when you want it to be.
I am surprised to say this 'cos I've had a lot of Hondas and always rated them, but I think I would take a newer lower miles 9R over an older more expensive VFR 750, from my experience, but they are both excellent bikes.
If you want a good cheap CBR600F my mate has one for sale. It's a 94/95 Reg with 20 odd K miles on the clock, it goes and handles very well.
Let me know if you are interested, he bought Tweakers Falco recently and has not got round to selling the Honda yet.
