Hmmm .... actually reset could have been down to that - starter motors draw a lot of current and if it was running while the ignition was turned to on it would flatten the battery very quickly - particularly if the battery was a bit knackered anyway.

but i am very cautious with batteries.....
Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

when you do go to fit them, read and use andy's guide to adding electrics to avoid batteries running flat.....
