love the falco but...............

#1 Post by ibicker » Thu Jul 01, 2010 6:11 pm

Had to have an oil leak fixed last week and whilst it was being repaired got given the keys to a rsv 4. (white!!!) Initailly it was like sitting a rock extremely hard rear shocks compared to the falco. The bike was fab!!! for a four stroke it sounds beautiful. It revs so easily and feels so light. On the down side its about 11k. In second gear i was easily touching a ton so im sure those points would soon mount up. The wife wont let me have one!

I was chatting to a dealer reasonably near to me who had the RSV4 Factory in a while back. I was gawping at it and he said 'why don't you have a sit on it?' I didn't need asking twice...

It felt tiny, but fitted me perfectly, which is a pretty neat trick. The guy was saying that he was going round a reasonably tight corner, glanced down at the speedo expecting to see 30-40 mph on the dial and saw 80 mph! He admitted that the whole thing only really started to make sense above about 120mph, but I have to say that still didn't put me off...
