Hey y'all
Moved house successfully (hence why I've been quiet on here) and rode the bike yesterday in the rain... and the EFI came on! If you recall this problem *appeared* to rectify itself when I put the Scorpion end cans back on the bike, but clearly it was coincidental. Now I know exactly why it comes on I'm not concerned... but I need to put some damp proofing on the clutch switch and air temp sensor.
So whats the best thing to use? I'm sure I've read something about someone putting silicone sealant on the air temp sensor but won't that affect its performance? What about clutch switch? I was thinking once its dried out I'll smear it with grease of vaseline to keep the damp out.
Recommendations gratfully received!
Next job in the new house is to run some power up to the garage to keep my baby on the optimate ;)
Cheers,
Damp proofer for air sensor/clutch switch
