I'm sure he won't mind me posting his email again if he gets more business, however it's available if you search this forum.

malarone@gmail.com

75 euros delivered from wherever he is.

Oh and you just tell whatever you have on your bike. He does a chip to suit.

Chip arrived today, and bike passed its MOT today as well!

So now the next couple of hours will be to get the SL Carbons back on and the chip installed :smt004

Gabro Chip

#21 Post by GregD-UK » Sat Apr 10, 2010 9:33 pm

Hi all,

OK, where do you get a gabro chip then? I have an renegade air kit and renegade aprilia chip. Next week I am going to a dyno shop to check everything out. Was wondering if it was worthwhile getting a chip before I went there....

Want to get it setup before the summer :smt004
My warranty is the clear/smoked tail lights around the corner!!

do believe that i said right at the start that if you have played with your bike a bit, then go gabro....

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Rene chips arent sold separately, so they wont necessarily the best match for what you have in the way of mods on your bike.
The chips are usually (were usually) matched to the systems they came with, and the existing mods on the bike on the dyno, at West Kingsdown. For those systems bought via mail order, there would be a middle of the range chip sent out from testing of that system on that model of bike, or if futher info could be gleaned, they'd send out a more suited chip for the mods already done using the wealth of knowledge they had on file from testing.

I'd suck it and see on the dyno first before splashing out 75 euro on a chip that you may not need. You may've hit it right with the Rene chip youve already got.

Scrolling...

Hi all,

OK, my laptop scroll's way too quick :smt016 Saw the info hornetrider, an email duly sent! See what his reply brings. Have asked about up here (North) and few places can balance TB's or even have the equipment to even adjust the individual fuelling for each cylinder with/without PC III. Even my local aprilia dealer didn't have the equipment to adjust the fuelling :smt010 :smt010

Need to move down sowwff methinks! NOT. Go to see this Griff chap maybe... Long ride down though....
