Fed up awaiting old bill
Right my New Falco has not moved for nearly 8 months due to the Scottish police and there inability to sort paper work out.
phoned around!! got TPFT £130 without any no claims,I really need to get back on a bike,so I am just gonna just pay up and hope all sorted for my next renewal.
WHAT ELSE CAN I DO

I'd put some fresh Super Unleaded in before you go for the MOT, or on the way there.
Ordinary unleaded does not normally last very well over anything like 8 months, it usually goes off in a shorter time. The one off super unleaded will mix the old crap with some decent juice.
Is it firing up and starting OK at the, moment?
If it is missing it could be down to the latter.
Assume you have checked all the obvious things that tend to stick, like front and rear brake light switches etc,. and that the brakes are working OK and aren't binding etc..
Otherwise good luck with the bike and more so you.
There will be a lot going through your head, hope it all goes well.

Congrats on the MOT pass, glad you also enjoyed the ride.
It is surprising how you get out of touch with the performance, (and the character of the bike as well).
Especially if you have been back just using the tin box for many months.
Your mind has forgotten how fast something like the Falco actually is relative to a car and takes a while to re-adjust your senses again, nice to be back though isn't it.
It's the same with other bikes.
After getting the 9R in January I had been riding it during Feb and March as it was new and it had heated grips which were needed, as I do not have them on the Falco.
Took the Falco out 2 or 3 weeks ago and suddenly realised I had not been on it since mid December. Started it up and it felt very loud and rattly, thumping away and shuddering at low revs, so diffferent from the quiet 9R, (IL4 with std can).
For a short while I thought ugh!, this feels like a bloody tractor, it felt so alien.
Half a mile down the road it was all coming back better and a couple of miles further when I was back with the character again, I was thinking S**t I love this effin' bike so much, I bloody missed it. Does it really overtake that much faster than than the 9R at low revs in a highish gear.
Answer yes................ aint it bloody great to be back on the best bike I've ever owned
