... as I'll be wheeling the beast out very, very soon. I thought I get these minor mods slipped past "internal accounting" as service parts.

Can anyone recommend any particular brands.

I won't be able to do this myself, so I'm looking to source the parts and getting the local pixies to put them on.

You won't go far wrong with a Renthal sprocket and DID chain. Having said that I fitted a different chain.... a Tsubaki if memory serves me.... this last time round.

Yup, that's what I'm using. You can get them @ B&C express.

Shag, too many choices. What's all this business with O, X and T rings?. Also how many links do I need.

I run Talon sprockets and very pleased so far.
Steel front, gold alloy rear.

O ring are fine but X ring perhaps a little better ?

If you go to B and C Express they give you the right length chain for your choice of sprockets. I just found my invoice and can tell you I went for...

Tsubaki Sigma X ring Gold 106 links.
Renthal 41 Rear.
Renthal 15 front.

Works fine.

O X and T are what the cross sections of the o-rings that butt up against the insides of the plates and the ends of the rollers look like if you cut through them. All to do with keeping the lubricants inside the rollers better, which makes a more effective oil seal and wears away less etc. X is supposed to do a better job than O, Not heard of T section ones before though.
