New OZ wheels

#1 Post by ReggieGasket » Sat Dec 26, 2009 9:02 am

I've got some OZ wheels finally! I don't have disks or sproket carrier though. Just wondering whether I can use the disks off my Brembo wheels and the standard sproket carrier? Any other tips? Should I change the bearings before fitting too? Happy Christmas to all.

I've moved disks and sprocket carriers across from my Brembos - though I have now picked up some second hand disks that will go on the brembos.

Do the wheels need powder coating - if so you will need to remove and replace the bearings - if not I guess it depends on their condition. Any part that's a pain to remove (like the swingarm) I'd replace the bearings when it's out but easy to remove things (like wheels) get done as they need it.

Thanks, that's good news. Will probably have to wait until I've taken the faring off to do some repairs. Role on spring...
