When you fit those nice shiny things, one thing you might not realise is that the bolts that hold the brake callipers to the forks are different. The standard Showa/Marzocchi forks use a flanged bolt but the ohlins forks use bolts without a flange that have an allen key socket. I only just noticed before I fitted my ohlins and had to race around to my local Ducati dealer to get some - some Ducatis used the same forks and brakes (think it was a 996SP or something). Of course if you realise in time you can order some from Aprilia.
