If / how are UK Falco's restricted ???

#1 Post by Falco Frank » Fri Oct 23, 2009 2:45 pm

Just been re-reading some posts about ECU wiring & intake boots and I'm left wondering just how UK Falco's are affected?

Mine's a 2001 model and it didnt appear to need the ecu cut wire mod - in fact I'm more than happy with the power output and am
planning to fit a 44 tooth rear sprocket.

Any info please???

All the Falco's come into the UK restricted, with de-restriction (usually) done by the dealer at PDI or first service. There have been a few people who have thought that their bikes had been done, but in fact hadn't.

Easy check, as Sam suggested follow the procedure on Ken's site

Mine hadn't been done. I got the dealer to do it at the first (running-in) service.
Wouldn't have been hard to do myself but as they should have done it at PDI I got them to do it for me.
