Ebay Eprom?
Still new so not sure if I should post this tech stuff here or in the workshop bit but its Falco specific (I think) so here goes...
I looked thru the forum to see if its come up before but couldn't find owt so apologies if the eprom questions are getting dull for the old lags but...
Has anyone tried these ebay eproms and are they any good?

I'm on a standard chip at the mo with pretty open leo vince carbon cans so I sort of feel I should make the most of em.
Cheers
Andy

Oh dear. Are the leo vince cans not considered decent then?
As for the ebay chips - I might try one if no-one else has, in the interest of science, and report back. Especially as they are only 30 odd quid. I hope they are not a copy of the arrow chip. The seller claims a real improvement with a highflow filter and unrestricted pipes. So I guess I'll need a K&N filter as well.

Those cans are fine!
Would suggest that evo or renegade air box solution is a lot better than k and n
I am using one of the af1 mille race chips and it is fine. But I think that I would sort the airbox and then go from there first off. Reports seem to suggest that the gabro chips are one of the best solutions all round

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...
Thanks for the pointer,Aladinsaneuk.
I just had a good read of all the gabro related posts over on AF1. It seems that fitting a chip leads to a lot of other tweaks and adjustments. Its starting to look similar to when i did a stage 1 tune of my Bandit 1200. It took me all winter to iron out all fueling glitches but I learned a hell of a lot about carbs in the process. And the bandit was indeed mighty. In the end.
Or am I being pessimistic?

EPROM thread
I dont have much to compare with, but the Gabro feels alot stronger than stock.
