Steering bearing dust cover ring

#1 Post by Syltiz » Sun Feb 22, 2009 5:06 pm

Anyone have a spare one kicking around they could sell me?

I am replacing my head bearings but I destroyed one of the dust cover rings when removing the race from the steering stem.

Part 11 in the diagram:

Thanks

Hey Syltiz - do you have a steering head bearing part number that could be of use to anyone wanting to replace them and not pay silly Aprilia prices?

Would be good to post that up :smt002

sure, its part number SF07A22PXI

I bought from here but I guess most bearing shops would have them.

33% cheaper than Aprilia :smt002

Excellent just what I (sorry - the forum :smt002 ) needed to know.

Cheers.

Sorry I can't help with the dust covers though.
