Short track christmas cracker

For any-one in the northlincs area today, there is the annual short track racing christmas cracker at Scunthorpe speedway today from 1pm. Guy Martin, Steve Plater and Karl Harris are supposed to be riding.

I've been for the last few years and it's a good laugh, plenty of racing, crashing and the quad bikes are just plain mental!

I also saw John McGuiness loafing about in the crowd..........a good day out for a tenner. Steve Plater ended up 3rd overall just proving what a brilliant all rounder he is

Sounds like a grand day out! Not much bike sport except some moto cross in my neck of the woods at this time of year.

It has to be said that the normally perfect shale surface looked more like a crosser carved up bog!
