Err wow, i thought you were talking about a small area of lacquer. My one had a piece about the size of a match head which i fixed as described. However i'm sure you could still fix it in the same manor, but to be honest i'd take it to a paint shop, they'll do a better job and have all the ovens to bake on the lacquer properly. I doubt it'd cost that much either?

thats usually caused by the base coat being left to dry to long,so when the laquer is applied it can't bond with the base coat. yep poor workmanship.

The pics make it look a lot worse than it is, maybe you where right about being dropped as both cases are on that side and they have spread due to not been taken care of.
Going to try and use u polish to blend it in as DO not want to fork out for new panels.

Well that was not one of my better ideas :smt009
It just peels the lacquer off and makes it worse rather than blend it into the bodywork,Think I will Try the body shop (paint one yes I know) LOL

Why not burnish it all off then re-laquer?
