OK one month of ownership. Evo cans, Thaks Sab, great. Just beginning to get the feel of it now. Front end too much compression damping and the spring rates aren't right, must sort that. Back end, no not mine, harsh no real feel to be honest, must sort that. But the engine, oh that engine. I'm in love.

but MMC can get an Ohlins for the Falco for £121!!! Bargain of the century...

See if MMC can get you one for that price as well.

I questioned the price, but was told it was kosher. Apparently a Mille one is £200 more expensive; go figure...

I can only assume the Mille shock has more adjustments (ride height etc.) that the Falco one doesn't have.

I rang MMC about this shock, spoke to Roxy, she said they are ohlins shocks for the Falco. So I asked for the ohlins part number, (cos it sounds too good to be true) and she told me that she only had the Aprilia part no. AP8795029.
When you look up the part you find this http://www.ultimateparts.net/shop/category.php?id=18463 No7 on the diag, it just looks like a remote adjuster (for the Sachs?) to me.

Stock will be available in a couple of weeks, she will call me when they arrive cos I've got my name on one just in case they are the real McCoy.
