Or you could just buy a Renegade airkit and route the breather that normally goes back into the airbox down to the front sprocket... :smt002

No need for a Snotoiler then... :smt002 :smt002

Snot-oiler Kwack? Didn't know snot was a viable alternative to fossil fuel lubricants :smt003 Still, save the planet and all that. Hmmm, 'fossil fuel' ? is that how OAPs in Volvo's get around? No wonder people want to ban the stuff. Sorry, awful joke... get used to them :smt016

I tried that and it didn't work. The pipe isn't long enough and is way too thick to to bend around and hold in place properly against the front sprocket. There's no point having it dripping onto the top of the chain as all the oil just gets flung striaght off. All that happened to mine was it got blocked with crud causing a load of oil to back up and stop the clutch from biting making it impossible to get any drive, so I've routed it well out of the way of the chain now.

...well my dual injector arrived today, and I got this far - rear plastics off in anticipation of routing the pipework...

...then after an hour of hot water soaking and wrestling with the vacuum connection plastic elbow thingy I gave up. I just couldn't get enough leverage and the little bugger wouldn't go on. :smt013 I called Scottoiler and they're sending me some sort of bridging connection to play with. If my RSVR.net tail tidy arrives by the time that connection does I'll have a toutou with them togther.

BTW someone said positive things about 'EZgraphics' in a thread here for decals and such. I duly ordered a tank pad and a pair of lions heads from them last week, but after phonecalls and an email they still haven't gotten back to me. Should I worry or are they notoriously uncommunicative? I left them an ultimatum today on their mobile number voicemail to touch base with me or cancel my order. Annoying. :smt009

Yeah - I told you that connection onto the throttle bodies was a bit of a bugger. Did get mine on in the end but came close to giving up several times.

Same tank pad as I've got but I didn't buy from EZ graphics so I can't comment on their speed of delivery.

The scottoiler might take a bit of effort to fit but it will be worth it.

...spent 5 hours mucking around with my dual injector today. Happy with the routing of all the tubing but thought I had the injectors in the right place, went for a ride and they sheered off in less than a mile! :smt013 This was with the bracket on top of the swing arm. Will try underneath tomorrow, and if that doesn't work will fob it off on my sympathetic (laugh their arses off at every little thing I throw at them) mechanics.

am fairly certain they have to be beneath.... if you think on it it does make sense in a gravity/movement kind of way....

but, I dunno, could be just a corealus effect, what with us being in the northern hemisphere and not being a colonial

(Would say sorry, but I just had to - my Kiwi brother in law sent me a video of the beach yeasterday so all you sheep wrestlers are getting it tonight....)

Yeah, the oilerduelinjector thingy needs to be under the swingarm dribbling on to the sprocket pretty much where the chain meets it if possible. That seems to tie in with the length of the tube/nozzle/dribbly bits and their instructions.

Still reckon my way is best, but that's only because I did it, biased opinion and all that. It works though, and I'm quite good at getting things NOT to work.

.... couldasworn the instructions said the bracket could be mounted above or below the swing arm. The problem wasn't where the injectors were height wise, but their lateral position. Stupid, but I just didn't line it up properly. Doing the whole palaver on the side stand coz I'm too chickensh*t to sling the the thing on to it's paddock stand by myself didn't help. Will get under there with a mirror and remount it.

... and I broke the dual injector with all my fiddling :smt013. seemed to be running okay, then lost the left hand injector. Fitted a single one today and it's working fine. Part of me would like to moan to S.O. but really it was my own cackhandedness that screwed it up... remind me NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES TO ATTEMPT ANYTHING REMOTELY MECHANICALLY IMPORTANT :smt019
