Nice straight forward fit. I cut the third lug off the US stand instead of cutting away at the bike.
Picked the stand up for under £40 delivered from a dude breaking a mille on the AF1 site
Side stand...anyone got one to sell?

Hi guys not been around for a while, nice to see the stand debate continues 
I bought a used Honda fire-blade side stand some time ago and only today fitted it to my falco.
I intended fitting it together with the falco side stand switch but having looked at the Honda item I thought why not use it together with the stand. Surprisingly it fitted straight onto the bike and plugged into the aprilia loom as if it was made for it. It has the added benefit of a longer wire, the aprilia switch wire loom always seemed a bit on the short side. Anyhow the stand and switch appear to work perfectly and the falco sits nicely on it. The Honda stand is much better made and looks a big improvement on the stock item but time will tell.
update used the bike today and noticed the cut out is not working on the ignition ie when the stand is down he bike does not cut out when engaging a gear, could be a problem but no time to investigate just now.
