Hi all,

Had a prob with her starting recently, managed to find or sortta id the fault to the diode under the rear fairing, just clicking away not starting her. Anywho, finally got a new one today fitted it fired up no prob's Went to pull away and changed back to neutral at a light, what neutral No light came on, bugger

Hope not related, but am I lloking for a sensor on the gearbox or maybe just a bulb gone on the dash...Me thinks way to coincidental to happen straight after I change the diode

Happen to anyone before.....

Sorry, never had it. Can only be the bulb - I have a broken dash with some in if thats all it is. But your right, bit coincidental. Hopefully you just popped a fuse when you used the hammer and chisel to fit the new relay thingy

Hi Pierre,

Found the problem It was the friggin wiring loom, the wires going into the diode had been nipped or bent so it was making intermittent connection on the diode, hence non starter sometimes

I am a fully trained find-a-problem on my falco-guy now

Given that yr one of my contractors aswell as a mate, do you not think an invatation to a rideout on a nice sunny Friday would class as networking? BEt it bloody would if it was a round of golf!!
