H-E-L-L-O-!!!!!!!........Doesn't everyone on here already own a Falco...............errrrrrrrrrrrr. And check out the plethora of posts you've made over the years, (thanks for getting involved) and nice to know you're not just using the site to avoid paying advertising fees. I, for one, will miss your wit and repartee. So long old friend, you'll be sorely missed.

Not only has Darkmunk started 2 threads on this forum (the one we're reading and THIS ONE) but he was also a member of the old forum where he posted 6 times (although they did all happen to be in THIS one thread).
Cut the guy some slack - he doesn't have time to ride while he fixes the house and looks after the kids (yep - I remember that phase of my life) and he hopes to get back to riding V-twins in a couple of years - so you can wait with baited breath for his next flurry of posts (both of them

And I think he does realise we all have Falcos - which is why he says:
Given that we're always telling people what a good bike the Falco is, I guess it's reasonable that Darkmunk may assume that one or other of us may know someone who's desperate for one.Darkmunk wrote:I'm preaching to the converted here when I say it's a blinding bike but if you know someone who wants one, please give me a shout,
Darkmunk - endure your separation from bikes for a couple of years, come back to it when you can and then post up regularly to let us know just how much better life has become once you are restored to 2 wheels.
BTW I don't know of anyone looking for a Falco at present - sorry.
P.S. Good to hear from you again TN - how's the house and bike coming on?

If you notice the ad he placed, you'll see that he's got quite a lot going on that can and does affect how active he can be both on the forums and a bike.
DM, youre perfectly welcome to place your Ad on the forums.
Hope it helps to sell your bike. Do us a favour and mention ARS when you do!

D, the house extension is about 4 weeks from completion, which means they've only taken 6months!!! I've already found some fancy rubberised flooring for the garage like they used in the Foggy Petronas factory no less....I'm sick of having the standard British dusty garage so this is gonna be excellent compared to what I had before. Now got the shock back from Reactive (not the greatest experience either, won't be using him again) so when the garage is done I can get in there and bolt the various bits and get back on the road.......but then the baby is due in September so I might get all of two days out on the bike if I'm lucky.......D-Rider wrote:Good to hear from you again TN - how's the house and bike coming on?

Sorry I haven't been around to reply to this thread and thanks to those of you who read my ad properly or read between the lines and realised that I am a v-twin nut, totally love my Falco and don't really want to sell it. hence the optimistic price tag for a scruffy bike.
however the bike works well and I am not sure I can loose it for the same money as a Honda that's been hacked around London by a dispatch rider all its life. Just last week I did the very silly thing of taking out my frustration at home on the road. The Falco absolutely comes alive when you nail it, an I had the ride of the year feeling like Ghost Rider as everything around me went into reverse like a video game. Absolutely intoxicating. scared the shit out of a GSX R 1100 rider when he realised after about a mile of thinking he was a god of speed that there was a v-twin right up his arse and waiting for him to finally look in the mirror and let me past.
I will take some pictures of the bike when I get a moment, so you can make you own minds up what the slide damage has cost me. And rest assured I will be back. I just thought I would give you guys first dibs before the 'Bay gets it.
Incidentally I didn't write much on this forum because you guys are wittier than average and I was happy to sit back and go along for the ride.
