Jaytune Eprom

Finally got around to fitting the Jaytune eprom to my Falco.

I comes with two maps, one for standard and the other for a pipe and filter. The maps are changed by cutting or re-connecting a wire from the ecu (can't remember which off the top of my head).

I had a Forza chip fitted which although much better than standard still had a flat spot between about 3-5000 revs.

Having a K&N filter and Art race cans fitted I started with the "sporty" map. This was good with lots of power but had very annoying flat spot just above idle which almost lead to stalling on occasion.

I re-joined the wires for the slightly de-tuned map and it's much better. No flat spot, smooth power right through the rev range and still fast enough for me (I don't ride like a loon much these days).

Overall very happy. Might drop him a mail about the flat spot if I ever get around to it.
