Changed End cans back to originals.

#1 Post by azureape » Wed Apr 26, 2017 8:22 pm

Evening all,
now that I have the bird back on the road after fixing the leaking fuel tank I will be riding to work.

As I leave for work at 4:30 every morning I have decided to put the quieter original end cans back on. The Blueflame cans are far too loud and would have really annoyed the hell out of the neighbours.

I have a PC3 on the bike so I am hoping I will not have to do anything too much as far as the fuelling goes.

Wow, what a difference in weight between the originals and the Blueflame cans, now I know why nearly everyone replaces the originals.

Here's to a summer of good riding!!

Fair play to you Sir !
I do have to ask if it were one of your neighbours setting off for work at 4.30 would they feel obliged to change the stupid farty backbox on the Focus RS ?
I leave at about 6.15 but make an effort to get the bike away on tickover as soon as it fires....
The SL Carbon cans are staying :smt002

YHou could of course get some removable end baffles made to tone it down.
I hate it when people ask if you have a bathroom, I want to say "No we pee in the garden"
