Can anyone tell me the size/pitch of this little bugger ?
I'm purging the bike of rusty shoddy stuff, will be putting braided lines on front and rear, previous experience tells me its a good idea to replace the rusty little fella with stainless before I start/ then fail to complete....
Thanks in advance

Wayno - yup you're right to say they seal on the cone, but only when you tighten them up... if the nipple is loose for bleeding and for example you're using a syringe to suck the fluid out (the only way to go IMO) you can get fluid or air leakage. I've had plenty of calipers with sloppy enough threads to let fluid and air past during bleeding - my clutch was a case in point a few nights ago (Nobody told me that the spring in the slave pushes the piston out far enough to drain the master cylinder
lol)

Thanks for the replies/info.
As you may have guessed I have had previous problems with sloppy threads and crudded threads, hence my search for stainless.
Thanks for the size Dale, If I have a stainless replacement then I wont need to run a tap down the thread, the stainless will be as good as a tap !
