A couple of niggles.....

#1 Post by Stokesy » Wed Jun 06, 2007 2:16 pm

Just back from Mugello, 2500 mile in 6 days.....

The bike behaved faultlessly and certainly kept pace with some fairly rapid machines. However there are a couple of niggles that I think can be fixed but I could do with some advice

1, the aluminium foot pegs transmit a lot of vibration, are there any rests avaialble with a rubber cover that I could pop on for the longer runs?

2, Anyone suggest a spot to hold some money and the poxy "peage" (toll) tickets and receipts, a real pain removing glove locating ticket/wallet and then kitting up again, any suggestions?

I'll posat seperatly about Mugello..........

I seem to recall that someone posted early blade pegs went straight on try a search of the old forum.

Not particularly helpful, but on our recent trip to Monza, we had one person who got all the tickets and held a kitty so when we needed to pay he was the only one who needed to faff about. take it in turns if there's dissent.

Indeed Fireblade pegs fit a wide selection of bikes (all the Honda range above 500cc)

I have a leather belt bag, its to small for a belt really so I modified it, it can be strapped round your glove (velcro fastening) and if you let the people in the booths open it and take the fee, you don't need to remove anything :smt001 . I used it last year on my trip to Rome and back, never had a problem.

Alternatively if you buy a really fancy pair of gloves some of them have a tuck in place for notes (shit for coins tho)
