I was just wondering, there never seem to be any motor problems with the millie lump.
Mine's done 30k and it is still spotless, not even any seeping oil on it.
engine problems (do they exist)?

It's one of those - there's no problems until there's problems. Mine is at 25,000 and going strong (I've had from new, 10 years ago!), had an oil leak from the camchain tensioner that's been there since about 6k, no other issues. others have had no-end of problems, but on the whole the Rotax engine seems pretty sorted.

The engine is pretty bullet-proof. Seldom hear of problems.
The engine-related things that seem to be a bit more troublesome are the ancillaries - like the sprag clutch ... but that's usually down to poor battery maintenance.

There are cheaper fixes than that out there - not that I've needed to do mine, thankfully.bigearsbilly wrote:doh!
the sprag clutch, I forgot I bought it with a broken one. £400.
I've got a Rotax CCM too, weak spot: sprag clutch.
