My Falco has the Aprillia RC cans and they are loud and the sound is harsh, and that is really the only negative I have with the bike. Currently I am enjoying the smooth, quiet by comparison zen like experience of riding the properly silenced BMW RS.

Would I put the standard cans back on the Falco? No I can't see that because weight is the enemy. Weight has a triple wammy, it hits performance, economy and handling. Sure one would get used to it quickly and might barely notice but I do throw it around and I would know it weighed more than it could.

The Cafe racer on the other hand has such a musical resonant exhaust note, I would pay to listen let alone ride it. The bike is noticeably lighter than the RS and though basically the same frame, suspension and wheels, handles a lot better than the heavier RS, especially when pushing it a little into bumpy fast sweepers.
