Hopefully its having a 'moment'. I've given up thinking 'You cant do this cos all the contacts are spotless and i've applied copper grease/ PTFE grease/ contact cleaner/new nut washer and isolator bush ect....
Ive had electrical issues which have simlply defied reason.
Bitter experience has tought me that having a substitute ECU can save a lot of hassle
Hopefully you wont need

Looks as though I have a little spate of niggles. Fired it up this morning for the run to church and it decided to run as a big single.
I was late and on duty for running the video projection desk so no time to swap for the car.
Wouldn't clear there and back.

All sorted now - I think a plug must have come a bit loose !

Plugs all cleaned and gaps checked while fiddling about. Hope all OK now.

Oh BTW I do need a new sidestand switch - mine was knackered - just wired it out for the time being.
