It's a bit of a doctrine of perfection (and definitely spendy), but I fitted a bleed nipple banjo bolt on the master AND slave cylinder. That way the pesky little bubbles really have nowhere to hide. Buy a pair of these and you're sorted...

Yes

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

I used one with sucess on the clutch and front brake but it did not cope with the back brake, maybe some seal in the vacuum pump wasn't as good as it should have been ?
Im still a big fan of those Vizi-Bleed things, a length of clear tube with a one way valve, easy to see whats happening and no worries about draining the res too quick
PS Mango is right, bleed nipple each end will make life a lot easier, sure if you shop around you can find cheaper stainless ones

I did fit a Goodridge stainless bleed nipple at the bar end but the air resolutely stayed at the bottom end so it ended up being a long winded process but I got there in the end :)

- Cleaned, re-greased, refilled and bled my stock clutch last weekend. Took me long enough but really no problems - syringe on the slave forcing fluid and bubbles up into the reservoir (lever afaict best NOT pulled in when doing this?). Loosend the lever assembly from bar and stood the bike nearly vertical; ensured no high spots/pockets in the master cylinder for air to hide.. :) Piston can also be pushed in by hand, for a pretty fast bubble-catching flow into reservoir.
IMO the lever can be tied to bar for a while (along with 'blocking' the piston) for pressurizing the system - thus compressing any bubbles, making them smaller and rise more easily..

Much pleased, operation is now way smoother.
