Since putting the ignition lock back on and refitting the battery etc I now have EFI flashing on the readout. The bike seems to run perfectly fine and ideas.

Connect the diagnostic wires and switch ignition on. There should be a number in the right display.
Post it up or search for the meaning on the forum.
I suspect a wire is dislogded somewhere.

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...
